Travel Grant Program

We are pleased to announce the ADMA Travel Grant Program 2024. The program is intended to support the attendance of early career researchers (Australian based) for the conference registration fees, travel and accommodation. Each recipient will be awarded $800 AUD. We look forward to receiving your applications and welcoming you to ADMA!

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for a travel grant, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be an early career researcher (be awarded a PhD degree after 1 Jan 2019) or a last-year PhD student.

  • Be affiliated with an institution (e.g., university) of Australia.

  • Attend the conference in person (e.g., present the main/industry track/special sessions paper or encore talks; host tutorials).

Application Procedure

To apply for the travel grant, please submit the following documents:

  • A completed application form.

  • A two-page curriculum vitae (CV) or resume.

  • A one-page statement of purpose outlining your reasons for attending the conference, the significance of your work for the research community of Australia, and how the grant will benefit you.

  • A support letter from your principal supervisor if you are a last-year PhD student.

Deadline

The deadline for submitting travel grant applications is 1 October 2024.

Selection Process

Applications will be reviewed by a committee of ADMA organizers and experts in the field. Selection criteria will include the quality and relevance of the applicant's work, financial need, and potential contribution to the conference.
